INTEGRATED NUCLEAR AND RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS MONITORING SYSTEM | |
PURPOSE
Integration of
- Yantar radiation monitor systems and
- Video recording systems
into a single system.
FUNCTIONS
- Current status control of the monitoring equipment
- Automatic alarming
- Support of alarm decision taking by the integrated system operator
- Generation of reports on alarms and operators’ actions
- Transmission of data to the upper level of the system
FEATURES
- Automatic alarming and video recording of the alarm-causing object:
Alarming is performed by the Yantar radiation monitoring system, which may be equipped with one or several video cameras.
- Simple servicing:
The server part of the integrated system is designed for long-term operation and does not require daily qualified administration.
- Reliability:
Data collection and alarm recording take place in the server part irrespective of client applications. All collected data are analyzed and stored on the server’s level in the MS SQL database with a variety of opportunities to save the data and to retain their logical integrity in the case of failures.
- High level of protection against the unauthorized access:
As a DBMS for storage and handling of measurements, MS SQL Server 2000 is used. Since the server and client parts have a common platform, it is possible to use the natural Windows NT/2000 authorization and data protection mechanism.
- Possibility of the access to the data through the Internet:
The software used allows an easy access both to the current data and to the statistical information through a standard Web browser.
