PURPOSE
Measurement of gamma radiation energy and accumulation of the registered information as statistical distribution of energy (spectra) and its wire or wireless transfer to a computer for further processing.
APPLICATION
Building of spectrometric systems for laboratory and industrial application for qualitative and quantitative analysis of gamma emitting radionuclides.
COMPONENTS
- Detector: NaI(Tl) or LaBr3(Ce)* crystal;
- Photomultiplier tube (PMT);
- Spectrometric path with signal digital processing;
- LED system for path stabilization;
- Voltage converters for power supply of electronics and PMT;
- Processor and spectrum memory;
- RS-485 and RS-232 interface for connection with computer, modification with Bluetooth air channel;
- Embedded battery and charger.
FEATURES
- Digital processing of analog signal ensures increase of intensity and stability of the device parameters;
- Application of LaBr3(Ce) crystals allows manufacturing of scintillation spectrometers with high energy resolution;
- Power supply of the device from external power converter or embedded battery;
- Wireless option for connection with a controlling computer.
TYPE AND SIZE OF DETECTOR
Standard UDS-GCA models use Ø40х40 and Ø63х63 mm3 NaI(Tl) scintillation crystals, as well as Ø38х38 mm3 LaBr3(Ce) crystals.*
