PURPOSE
Measurement of gamma radiation energy and accumulation of registered information as statistical distribution of energy (spectra) and its transfer through standard data transmission lines to a computer for further processing.
APPLICATION
Building of spectrometric systems for laboratory and industrial application for qualitative and quantitative analysis of gamma emitting radionuclides.
COMPONENTS
- Detector: NaI(Tl) or LaBr3(Ce) crystal *;
- Photo-multiplier tube (PMT);
- Spectrometric path with signal digital processing;
- LED lamp for path stabilization;
- Voltage converters for power supply of electronics and PMT;
- Processor and spectrum memory;
- RS-485 interface or USB for connection with a computer.
FEATURES
- Digital processing of analog signal ensures increase of intensity and stability of the device parameters;
- Application of LaBr3(Ce) crystals allows manufacturing of scintillation spectrometers with high energy resolution;
- Detecting devices with crystals of various types and sizes in combination with several types of communication interfaces allows development of customized spectrometric systems;
DETECTOR TYPE AND SIZE
Standard UDS-GC models use Ø40х40 and Ø63х63 mm3 NaI(Tl) scintillation crystals and Ø38х38 mm3 LaBr3(Ce) crystals*.
