PURPOSE
Automation of radiation control procedures performed at customs checkpoints of various configuration and traffic capacities.
Field of application - entry areas of the underground system, railway and bus stations, airports and other transport infrastructure facilities.
FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES
- Continuous 100% monitoring of passengers, luggage, vehicles, cargo for the presence of embedded radioactive material without influence on the traffic;
- Displaying of monitoring results on the monitor screen in the real time mode;
- Prompt notification of security officers by transmitting alarm signal to the portable annunciator o f tablet PC type;
- Automatic recording of alarm events in the archive and primary identification of alarming object based on video image of the search area;
- Classification of alarms with allowance for the presence of radioactive pharmaceuticals( for passengers) and level of radiation hazard;
- Providing support to security officers in making decision on the alarm and control of performance;
- Transmission of data to the security service;
- Providing localization and identification of the alarming object.
COMPONENTS
Composition of the Automated System is variable and depends on the site where it is installed.
Basic equipment of the Automated System includes:
- Radiation monitor’s RM-1SM-01, RM-1SM-02
- Video monitoring set;
- Data acquisition system and operator's Workstation for monitoring and control with possibility of wireless access from tablet PC.
The Automated System can also include radiation monitoring system of Yantar type (installed if vehicle passages or rail tracks are equipped).
